How can I get a stuck tape out of my car radio/tape deck?

I would try to pull from the little clips on the top that either allow you to record or not. there should be one on either side. take an object small enough to insert into those two holes and apply equal pressure towards the inside of the tape and pull. Maybe a crotchet needle or something like that. good luck sounds frustrating.

Eye brow tweezers grab and pull otherwise it's a case of taking the unit out and then taking the top off it to get to the tape

why not try to take the radio out some times it will reset itself and your tape just might come out

Maybe its about time you invested in a CD radio insted that way you wont end up with chewed up tapes.

You need a special pair of micro needle nose pliers. Go to Home Depot and look at the pliers...pick out the longest, thinnest one you can find. That would be the micro needle nose. Don't ask the salesperson to see one though....salespeople do not know synonyms for products...they only know brand names and they will become confused.

Obviously the easiest and safe way is to get the radio out first so u cna get inside of it. If u try to use any hard tools u may damage the roller inside and then it will be scrap. Well u can however get the tape out but that require lots of patiency. As long as u still can c any little piece of the tape inside try to pull iy out while the radio is off. But don't do it hard but very gentely. If u have 2 ends then don't pull the both at the same time but differently one at a time but if u already pulled too hard then the only option is to get radio out as it is too late.
