What should i buy if i wanted to buy some nice bass speakers for my car and attach an amp. to it.?

Buy some kenwood 7x10's they have a large cone area and this depending on your amp(buy one that is slightly more than the rms rating of the 7x10's) will sound as if you have a 10" sub in your car and sound great as well.

My recommendation for subwoofers is the popular audioban. really low cost and sounds excellent for the money. as for the amp you could use audiobahn too. I use Autotek subs and have a combination of MTX(sux)amps and old skool rockford fosgate, 1 for highs, 1 for subs.

you can buy inexpensive amps at frick'n walmart that would push a sub. the problem is that if you amp up a sub (the bass) then you will not be able to crank it because it will drown your mids and highs.If just want more bass you could buy an 8,10,or 12 inch sub and amp it, but that would be overkill if your not going to amp your mids and highs and put enough wattage in the speakers for those, which would mean separate amps to the mids ,highs or both and one to the bass.Why not just go get some 200 watt 6x9's tri axles put one amp on the tuner and boost all the sound and then adjust up the bass and level the mids and highs thru you existing tuner.Cheapest way to go to get good volume and amp some bass without spending any real money.You get what you pay for dude.
