Whats the best amp for my subs?

My amp is not putting out power, blew 100 w fuse, good wires amp is as well.subs are good. whats the solution?

  • i after replacing the fuse, i was going to work and my subs just quit on me. i dont have anything fancy. i have the Lanzer 4000 amp and 2 of their 15' subs each at 2000 i really dont believe those ratings, but i have checked all the wires and the fuses on the amp, also under the hood. I believe it may have shorted out one of the fuses in the main fuse box.

  • Answer:

You need to find the cause of the blown fuse. The amp should not be drawing 100 amps of power so if it is working correctly that should not be the cause. I would double check that your power cable has not rubbed through the insulation and shorted out somewhere. There could be damage to the amp itself and that caused the fuse to blow. Also even though it doesn't answer the blown fuse problem check the ground. Faulty grounds have sent me searching for other problems for hours on multiple occasions. Good luck gettin the beat back.
