How do i take the stereo out of my 1994 nissan micra?

    you might damage the soft plastic dash leave this to a pro i suggest you take it to any car dealer .there are a lot of wiring and you might damage the chip.a small computer.under the dash .

you can pull the plastic around the dash near the cd player but first look for screws make sure you have the additional wiring harness it don't come with it you have to buy it separate. if the old one should slid out. also make sure you bought the trim that goes around the cd player if not it will not stay. if you have problems take it to bestbuy or circuit city and they'll install it for you

there are 4 screws to remove dash facia 2 just above radio and 2 more when you take out the ashtray completely then get your fingernails behind the fascia edge and pull it forward this exposes another 4 screws which holds in the radio remove these and disconnect the harness and aerial.you will need a loom plug to convert nissan wiring to suit your new set.....hope this is of help toyou
