How can i fix my car radio?

How can I fix my Clock and Radio Light on my car?

  • I have 1998 Pontiac Grand Am SE and my clock and radio light wont work! I can't see anything! If I look really close I can see it faintly but thats it! All the other lights on the CD/ Radio works but not the little display! How much would it cost to get it fixed? Can you do it your self?

    it would be easier to get a new radio than to try to fix a light bulb inside of your radio. the shops will try to get u to spend too much for that. just get a new one.

There are very few places that fix factory radios. You will come out cheaper buying a nicer aftermarket radio and having it installed. Some of the larger retailers offer free installation. If you wanted to try to fix it yourself, It is probably just a LED behind the screen. If you are electronically savvy, I say give it a try.

u can't fix a light in ur radio its nearly impossanle thats like fixing the back light on ur cell phone u can't do u have to get a new radio
