I plan on buying 2 Kicker L7 12's and i wanted to know what type of amp is best. also is Lanzar a good amp?

Lanzer is a littel bit of old technology you need something new and powerful iwth a power output that can match those subs, try rockford fosgate!!!

If you are looking at buying Lanzar look @ the Optidrive series only, there is night and day difference between them , and the opti's are CEA complaint as well. Recommend - opti2000d @ 1ohm

Dude keep the L7 and and buy the Kenwood Exelon KAC-X521 that would be a good *** system. And no Lanzar is not good.

Lanzar used to be good a long time ago, but now they are below average. Well if your not wanting to pay alot for a quality amp, you can always buy referbished (rebuilt amp from the manufacturer). A Kicker zx750.1 goes for about $175.00 referbished. Its $499.00 new off the shelf so your saving quite a bit. just check into any extra waranties you can get to cover your self.

Boss audio is a cheap off name brand that is around lanzar price but has alott better price output. try searching for that name. i had a boss ripd3 3000 watt mono block and it pushed the hell outta 2 alpine type-R 12's like they were nothing.

I'd just get a Kicker amp to go with your Kicker subs. You don't want to get a cheap amp to go with good subs. And to answer your other question... No, Lanzar is not a good amp.

i haven't ever heard of lanzer but out of all the systems i've heard it's always better to match all your speakers and amps. i would go with a kicker amp to go with your subs. i'd say they will sound better

I usually go with Sony xplode or Pioneer brands. I never heard of Lanzar, but those two brands will do you good, in sound and price. For a 1000 watt sony you are looking at about $140.
