What kind of speakers should I buy?

What kind of 6x9 speakers should i buy?

  • i have a 96 buick lesabre with an aftermarket cd player and one jl 10inch sub, but the problem is all my speakers are factory and they sound like ****. im looking to buy new 6x9's but im not sure what are good brands and what ones to stay away from. im not looking to spend alot of money, maybe like 150-200 for front and back speakers.

    MB Quart.... make great speakers, not the loudest of the speakers, but crip, clear sound makes up for the loudness! Infinity is a great speaker too. Go with Kappa series through. good luck.. buy speakers online and get them at wholesale price or you will pay three times as much at a retail store... good luck.

I may be wrong but i don't think you can install 6 by 9's in yer doors, they would look weird plus u would have to make a special support or drill a larger hole for em... Most cars doors r made to hold 6 inch round speakers... and 6x9's are most of the time installed in the trunk... If I were you id buy 3 way 6 in speakers for the doors... they would sound pretty good... but if u really want those 6x9's ud have also to buy an amp because i dont think your cars stereo would supply the proper power to those speakers...

JL AUDIO THEY SOUND SO GOOD. I HAVE THEM AND I WOULD NEVER PUT NOTHING OTHER THEN JL AUDIO IN MY RIDES. I HAVE 2 13.5 INCH JL W7 SUBS WITH TWO 4,000 WATT AMP AND A FIVE FARROT CAP AND THOSE HIT SO HARD AND YOU STILL CAN HERE THE MUSIC CRYSTAL CLEAR.
