What would be the difference if i had 2500 watts at 2 ohms rather than 1 ohm?

That just means an amp will do 2500 watts at a 2 ohm load rather than at a 1 ohm load. Same power, just difference resistance. Some woofers need more power at a higher resistance than other. Ex. You have a subwoofer that can handle 2500 watts rms but its a dual 4 ohm sub, then an amp that puts out 2500 watts at a 2 ohm load would be perfect for that sub.
