Clifford Alarm installing help?

I have a g37 about a month ago i installed the clifford 330.3x alarm and everything was fine, i had ordered a promixity sensor , yesterday i recieved it and went back into the store (brandsmart) to have it installed. after like hours the guy was able to install the alarm however when the car is drive it beeps and shows the trunk open inside the cars dashboard. The trunk is completely closed but still does this. I asked the installer he said it was because the lines were so close together. can someone help me is this fixable? I INSTALLED A[ DIRECTED ELECTRONICS 508D DUAL-ZONE RADAR SENSOR]

"Because the lines were so close together"???? Seriously???? The problem is, he connected the output from the proximity sensor to the same trigger wire that's connected to your vehicle's trunk pin. The proximity sensor doesn't know whether the alarm is armed or not; when it detects something, it sends a ground pulse to that wire, and your vehicle interprets it as an open trunk. To fix it, the installer needs to use diodes to isolate the wires, so that the output from the sensor can reach the alarm module but not the vehicle's computer. This is Alarm Installation 101 stuff, by the way--any competent installer should know this, because using diodes for trigger isolation is required in a lot of cars. The "too close together" explanation was just hot air.
