How do I get my CD's out of my car?

Can u get a ticket for having burned cds in your car?

  • Say you get pulled over and a cop looks in ur cd case. If there are burned cds in ur cd case can he give you a ticket?

  • Answer:

    NO It's not illegal to burn music CDs. It's only illegal to "steal" music and it is impossible to prove you didn't copy that music from music you already own and paid for. Even if it wasn't beleive me the police could not care less.

A policeman may not examine your CD case without a warrant except in special cases.

Unless he played the CDs, how would he know for sure that they aren't just blank? And surely a cop wouldn't bother with such trivia.

If you look at the conditions on CD's you are allowed to burn one copy of them as a back up for personal use in case your original CD gets damaged. So no you cant get booked unless the officer is ignorant of this fact.

NO.... Not during average traffic stop....If your rolling Dirty Cd's won't matter...... But if you want to Be Safe When you burn a CD Put Someone else name thats not on your ID.. Example: Jerry's Tunes, ED's Base Tunes... They have to prove you down loaded or copied them from a copy righted Record or CD etc.. If you didn't get caught in the act its hard to prove... A friend of a Girl you know left them in your car... ZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM

No he can't. Burned CD's that you use for your own personal use is ok. Unless you have a bunch of counterfeit CD's and you are selling them. That's another story.
