How to connect subwoofers to existing amp, but there are 4 wires connecting to each rear speaker?
-
I want to connect my sub to my existing amplifier, Infinity, from my Chrystler. Before I was able to lead the sound directly from the speakers with 2 wires + and - and avoid wiring from the dash. But this has 4 wires connected to each rear speaker. I have no idea what it means. It goes from the amp to a coupler to the speaker(White/Blue to Black)(White/Red to Black)(White/Black to Green) and (White/Green to Red) That is an example of the drivers side rear speaker. I thought one may be an equalizer with positive and 2 negatives but all wires read 5 volts when radio is on. Any help or advice on what the 4 wires could be hooked up to the speakers are would be great. Same connection with the passenger. Black = ? Black = ? Green = ? Red = ?
