How do i power up my car radio?

Im trying to put Xm radio in my car... How do I hook up the power cables?

  The yellow wire needs to be connected to a constant 12 volt source and the black wire needs to be connected to chassis ground. Since you will be removing your radio to make the connections you can simply tie both of these wires in with your radios wiring which will also have a yellow and black wire. Simply splice the XM's yellow wire into the radios yellow wire and then do the same for the black wire.
