How can I get my ipod to play through my car speakers?

if you have a new car, most of them have an ipod plug in. it looks like a headphone jack in your stereo. buy a cable that looks like a pair of headphones on both sides. otherwise if you have an older car, you can buy a thing that hooks up to your ipod and you turn to a certain radio station and you can listen to it that way.

You need to purchase an Itrip. its a device that plugs into your cigarette lighter plug and then transmits your ipod through your speakers. The itrip uses the radio to transmit your music. Itrips can be purchased at any electronics store and they range in price from 50-100 dollars. If you buy an Itrip make sure it is one of the ones that charges your ipod while playing your music.

If you car is a newer model it will have an AUXILIARY input that you could plug the iPod into. If it is older without that input you can buy a small RF modulator that will broadcast the iPod music as an FM signal to your radio. you have to get a car kit- one that either goes through the radio frequency or a tape player or lighter. you can get one pretty cheaply- it only has to be i-pod compatible, doesn't have to be apple brand. once you do, you just plug it in and go- simple instruction.
