How do I get rid of the buzzing noise in my speakers?

My car speakers make a sqeeling noise,?

  • My car speakers, hooked up to an amp, make a squeeling noise when the engine is on, and gets more high pitched when the revs get higher, how do I fix this, is it the amp I should replace? There is also a buzzing noise when only the accessories are on without the engine.

  • Answer:

if your running your rca cables to close to the power line for the amplifier its scrambles the rca signal running threw the rca cables.power line on one side of your ride and the rca cables on the other.also you could have bad rca cables.also good ground to amp is a must.your picking up the feedback from the alternator, this is a fixable problem.and for best results you ground each amplifier in its own spot to some clean steel as close to the amplifier as possible.good luck.

Welcome to hell my friend. You have a grounding problem. The best way to solve this is to make sure that everything is grounded to the same spot and that you don't have power wires running along speaker wires. You can always try a ground loop isolator also however it can be hell to figure out wtf is wrong. Sorry bud
