Columbus is not exactly known as a foodie town. That said, of course there are many wonderful places! There is somewhat traditional things like Schmidt's Sausage House in German Village, fun atmosphere. You can eat nothing but cream puffs if German food isn't your style. I love the North Market for Jenny's Ice cream. In the Short North, I'm a big fan of LemonGrass (asian fusion) and Betty's (almost a dive but not and the best bar type food ever) and Martini (Italian) Plus, there's good Japanese (Otani, Sapporo Wind, and Restaurant Japan), Indian (Indian Oven, Taj Palace, and others), and Chinese (including dim sum at Fortune and Shangri La). The Starliner Diner specializes in Cuban Food. If you've never had Cuban French toast, you're in for a life changing experience! (Note: it could have nothing to do with Cuba and I wouldn't know, but everything there is fabulous)
