How old do you have to be to work in california kitchen?

Which place to work? Cheesecake Factory or California Pizza Kitchen?

  • I am a freshman in college with 3 free days a week to work in addition to the weekends. My plan is to start at a host and move myself up to server/waiter after a few months of work. Additionally, I plan to work at the establishment I join for about two years. Which place has a better environment/ambiance and how are the pay scales (which pay more)? Do you think I would earn more as a waiter at California Pizza Kitchen or The Cheesecake Factory (tell me about how customers tip their please!)? Please and thank you!

  • Answer:

I think you could make much more money at Cheesecake Factory. There is no comparison in terms of ambience, the Californea Kitchen is like a chipotle place, the local one looks real boring. ~

Cheesecake Factory - depending upon location. Bigger and busier - all times of day. They are open earlier (most locations) as far as I know. Some CA Pizza Kitchens only have a wine bar, that would make a difference. Overall I think tips would be better at CF: Pizza is not it's most popular item and people order individual meals. Higher priced ticket = bigger tips.

baybean

you would earn at Cheesecake Factory because the prices are higher.
