Which is better and why, New York or Chicago style pizza?

I grew up in CA eating Round Table. In the past 10 or so years I have eaten a good amount of New York style pizza and I can see why people like it so much. I have tried Chicago style pizza but not from a good place(for some reason we have decent New York Pizza but not Chicago). I am wondering which is better, authentic New York style pizza or authentic Chicago deep dish style pizza. I would also love to know why you think one is better than the other.
