what are the best steak restaurants in Alanta?

Are there any more family steak house restaurants out there?

  • Our community is a tourist area and we have a few of the major (expensive) chain steak houses here, Outback, Longhorns, Ruth Crist. Does anyone have a favorite chain steak house thats's you can still afford to take your family to? i.e. Like Quinceys and Ryans or Western Steer.

In my area, we still have a great Sizzler franchise-owned store, that is really good, clean and affordable. Those other places you mentioned aren't even around here. My town is about 50,000 people, so maybe we'll see them soon, huh?

Bug-a-Boo Creek, wow great steak house with lots of things to entertain our kids. Like moose on wall that the head and eyes move. And many other animations and to best part is the price is family friendly

Charlie Brown's is a very nice steak house. Moderately priced with a 9 oz sirloin costing about $14.00 This comes with salad bar, bread, and potato. The salad bar has the basic ingredients plus cottage cheese, chicken liver, some speciality salads that change frequently and fresh fruit. Bugaboo Creek is another steak place here. It is a little more than Charlie Browns and does not have a salad bar. Sure wish we had a Ryans here in the northeast. Ponderosa is a bit less but the quality is far inferior to Charlie Brown's or other steak houses. It is on a par with Golden Corral.

Texas Roadhouse and Texas Land and Cattle are good places to eat (TR has AMAZING BREAD!) with your family that you can afford, and TR I know is in ALOT of places. But keep in mind these places get BUSY. They can be on a 45 minute wait by 5:30, but I think both places take reservations.

Ryan's, Quincy's, Golden Coral and Prime are still in operation throughout the SE and still serve steak.
