Whats the best/most popular kind of Cheese in USA...?

  • Do you have many brands like over here in Europe ? I ask because I've heard of none ! Maybe you import from us ? There are some great ones on the Market (EU) now.

  • Answer:

We don't really have brands of cheese, we we do but we mainly go by type like Colby, Cheddar, American etc. The only thing that I can think of is Bordan, Velveeta, Kraft, Sargento, and Lorraine.

Go to Wisconsin!!! The best cheese in all of the USA is in Wisconsin!! It's mainly cheddar up there, but you can probably find anything you want if you look. I'd say the most popular cheese is cheddar, also!

In the US most of our cheese seems to come from the state of Wisconsin. The most popular cheese is usually cheddar. Colby cheese and colby jack cheese are quite big. Colby jack is a spicy cheese often found in Mexican dishes. I have seen some European cheeses in our bigger supermarkets. They always seem to be English and Italian cheeses.

Probably American. Don't like that flavor as much as I like Provolone.

my favorite brand in general is Tillamook(oregon). Love their smoked cheddar, and white cheddars!! :) i don't like those cheeses that come pre-shred or wrapped in plastic.
