How can we increase our customer base?

What should a pizzeria and pub(The Big Cheese and pub) do to keep or increase their customer base?

• The Big Cheese and Pub 606 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, RI, 02910 i should have added that they have a wide range of customers young -old,they do have loyal customers they don't advertise they do by word of mouth, they have a lot of business because there regulars recommend them to ppl umm lets see they are right next to a high school so whenever the home games are finished most ppl end up going there , ummm i know im forgetting something i just cant remember it right now ....with the economy the way it is how can they increase or keep their customer base

  The only thing left is to advertise! Regular colored paper flyer's work well and are relatively inexpensive. If you have slower nights then others, run specials on inexpensive but popular menu items. Like a large pepperoni pizza for any amount only on monday and tuesday nights. That worked well for myself. Word of mouth is good but not everybody talks to everybody all the time.
