What is the minimum wage for servers/waiters in Washington State?

I make 5.01 per hour in washington state and minimum wage here is about 8.75?

• I work 11and a half hours 6 days a week and i only make 5.01 per hour i dont get paid for overtime i am tired i dont know what to do , i work at a teriyaki restaurant and it is really heavy i start at 9;30 am and get off at 9;00 pm i dont have time for nothing anymore. i want o report this to labor industries but on the same toeken i dont want to loose my job , i dont think this is fair but i dont have an option , im afraid that if i report this the korean guys will just fire me and dont pay for the overtime and the rest of the money that they owe me by law , we didn't sign a contract or anything i didnt fiill out an application.. i need the money i need tha job but for 5.01 per hour is enough money to just pay rent and bills ,, please give me an advise someone who knows about labor industries here in washington or anywhere thanks

  There are several violations there. The minimum wage violation is huge. That is state minimum wage here, they much pay it. There are only several exceptions that fall into the agriculture sector. In an 8 hr shift you're supposed to receive two paid 15 minute breaks and one unpaid 30 minute lunch break. You are not required to sign a contract or fill out an application to be given a job. As long as you are receiving a check and are paying taxes you can report them, but with the fines the company would likely incur I would assume there would probably be no place left to work when all was said and done. If you are being paid under the table you don't have much of a case though they are still in violation, but you are as well for not claiming the income if that is the case.
