Is medical billing something you can do from home?

Wife looking for work from home jobs?

  • I have been a truck driver for 30 years now.And would like to take it a little easier by finding local work closer to home.I would like to find a work at home job for my wife on the computer,but i need a genuine site on the up & up.No more take your money & run.She is 8years younger than me and this will help out on me being on the road and never home.I am hoping for early retirement and my wife has agreed to this if we can find the right job.Something in the line of bill postings for factories or manufacturing companies or medical billing.But we are open to all ideas as will need to make $400/wk and upward would be our goal.We have the room for home base office. We live in West Tennessee and would like only genuine answers only

Have you ever considered a Virtual Secretary / Assistant job? You can find such jobs on outsourcing websites. You'd need a bit of time to set up a profile and earn credibility, but this could prove functional in the long run. Please note that it would imply a regular schedule for your wife. I don't know about bill postings for factories, not even sure what that is, but I do know about medical billing and coding and it has become oversaturated with new grads with no experience. It is hard to find an office job, let alone an at home one. And she definitely isn't going to make $400 a week starting out. Maybe after a few years and a couple of credentials she might. This is a great field and I love it, but it is not for people who want an easy job that pays well. It is a very difficult job, that requires a lot of attention and focus and after you put in your time, you will get paid well for it. Home coding is very, very hard to get into, employers ONLY hire certified coders with at least 3-5 years experience, if anyone offers a home job to a new grad, its a scam. plain and simple. I must admit I do not understand the fascination of working from home. what is so wrong with going to work??? Hope you enjoyed your genuine answers
