Anyone else ever had a problem ordering from VCDiscounter in Texas ?

• Anyone else ever had a problem ordering from VCDiscounter in Texas ? A year and a half ago I ordered a vacuum from them and it arrived okay so I just ordered a steamer vac from them. When the order arrived by UPS the box was wide open, crushed on one end and was also wet. The UPS deliveryman suggested that I decline to accept the order in this condition adding that UPS would return it to VCDiscounter. I followed his advice and sent an email to VCDiscounter informimg them of the open, crushed, wet box that I had received and explained that I was declining the order and did not know whether any of the contents was missing or damaged. A few weeks later I received an email from VCDiscounter indicating that upon inspection the contents were not damaged or missing & they would ship me a new steamer vac ONLY if I paid for the new delivery charge I feel that I am being penalized by VCDiscounter because I refused to accept an open box delivery from them Has anybody else experienced a similar problem with VCDiscounter ?

  I wouldn't do business with them again. You might also report them to the Better Business Bureau.
