How long does it take mail to get from CT to CA?

OK. So I mailed a money order out for a package in California on Sunday (I put it in the deposit box). Now I understand that Monday was Presidents Day so it would take a bit more time. The company still has yet to receive my money order (they process as soon as they get the order). So how long does it take for the order to get to CA under normal mail (ie. no priority or first class)?

If they don't get it Friday, it might not be till next week. Many businesses are closed on saturdays.
