Jobs a 14 year old could get in Washington state..?

  • Okay well I wanna earn some money during the summer so I can keep busy. I don't wanna do the whole mowing peoples lawn thing, I wanna get a REAL job like working at mcdonalds or something. Anyways can a 14 (almost 15) year old get a job in washington state..and if so what kinds of jobs are there? Im mature so im not gonna goof around and stuff I'll go there and work so I think im mature enough for a job. So ya what type of jobs would be avaiable for a almost 15 year old (currently still 14) Thanks!

    I've never heard of a fourteen year old with a job. You can volenteer though. As far as money wise, have your parents pay you for doing more chores around the house. Start your own dog walking business or something. Try baby setting for money. Without an education and experience, it's hard to get a REAL job even at legal age. You're almost 15? Wait a year. :)

It is self-employment, and will give you experience in promoting your skills, managing your money, figuring a proper fee to ask based on time and difficulty. Same as dog walking, baby sitting, weed pulling, house cleaning, and other self-employment jobs obtainable by 14 year old people.
