Is Buy N Large a real company?

Anyone ever heard of a company named Buy-n-USA?

  • I recently received a job application through email for a company named Buy-n-Save. I received the application because I sent a resume in through Yahoo Hotjobs when I saw the advertisement. I have tried doing a search for this company but I am not finding anything. Has anyone heard of this company?

    I too received the email and filled out an application. In the email I received it said I can either have direct deposit, or they will send a check every 2 weeks. I would definitely opt for receiving a check since giving them your checking account info would be most unsafe. I am eager to check them out, but I too am a bit skeptical. If someone gets some more info before I do please let me know. If I hear anything back from them soon I will let you know. P.S. All info I have looked up shows that they are based in Miami Florida. Update: I received an email back from them saying I needed to fill out a W-4 form. They also included a form about employment with the company. Everything might have seem legit, but the company is different from Buy-N-USA. The company is Export Packing Services Of California. I have been unable to find any information about this company. They included a partial address, but there is no company by that name at that location. Also, they have placed a seal on the form, but the seal was created at a website: www.says-it.com/seal/ I know this because they still have the address in small print around the seal! Because of these things I am now leaning towards the probability of them being a scam. I emailed them asking for more information and am awaiting their response. Update: Still no response from them after an entire day. I was receiving responses from them before quite often. So... I am now 85% positive it is a scam.

I recieved one too, also through hot jobs. I investigated them through the Better Business Bureau and everything looks legitimate. There weren't any complaints or negative reviews. I don't know how long they've been around, but they're based in Miami. I'm going to check it out if they want me to do a trial. I've almost fallen for scams in the past, so I'm suspicious. As long as they don't want you to buy anything before you start, it's probably worth a try. I'm interested in seeing if anyone else answers this. Maybe someone knows more about them. P.S. For the person below me ; do NOT do direct deposit; it's way too risky. They offered me the option on getting a check sent through the mail each month. Reread the email they sent you; I'm sure they offered you the option. If not, request it to be safe.

I just emailed them their strange application which came via notepad form, but whatever. I cant find anything on them either. What worries me though is they want to pay me via direct deposit, and Im leary about giving anyone my account number. I hope they dont expect us to ship anything illegal. Il guess ill try it. but it would be great to hear from someone out there that has had experience with them.
