How do you go about getting bonded?

How would some one go about getting bonded and what kind would they need to become an auto repo man?

  • Trying to start in the repossession business and need informaiton on what kind and type of bond to get and insurance needed for it. Also if you know of anyone that would be wonderful. Thanks

    You need to get more than just a bond to be in the repo business. Most states require licensing and minimal training, etc. to operate. Check with your states licensing boards or go to www.firstgov.gov and take it from there. That is a skilled business that you don't just go do. I would suggest going to work for someone to see if you are even interested before spending money to start a business.

you need to call an insurance place, Not like Allstate. Just look under insurance. I have a bond for my construction company. Its not a lot of money. I have 1 million bond and it cost me 300 a year. Its really not big of a deal.
