How many people have been frustrated by there cable, phone and internet providers services?

I switched my individual cable, phone and internet services to one provider back in August 2007. I have had an ongoing problem of outtages with the phone/internet service portion from day one. It will simply drop and after some period (minutes to hours) it will come back on and reset the modem. I would like the combined services and general cost / features if it were working 100%. Has any one else experienced this? The outtages - drops and reconnections. I have heard a colleague mention a similar problem with combined services in a different area and different provider them myself. I have made every effort to fix this problem over the six months. The provider has a monopoly in my area and any other provider is re-selling their services. So the problem will travel to the next provider of the same set up. My provider will go to great lenghths to disavow this problem. They would much rather claim it must be my equipment or that the modem box is not hooked up correctly.

Before it expires the special offer ask them to renew at the same price ,otherwise had someone w the same package and price otherwise you will be out of service,and is cheap to have the whole package it does make senses,unfortunately this companies are dinosaurs !! be aware, but play smart see when you have the service started ,then two months b4 the first year anniversary,call and ask for the same package otherwise,look is plenty companies out there! good luck!!!!!!!

I live on the outside edge of being able to do this. So since we have, when we loose internet the phone goes out. Most of time the cable tv works unless there is a real bad storm. We are more frustrated by at&t keep calling us wanting us to come back but have no real deal dolar wise. I understand the few times that our phone and internet have been out because the weather was bad. It is charter and the connections are good just not able to get someone out here for problems that are not emergencies.

We don't have a home phone just a cell phone which really meets our needs. We have a local phone number which everyone can call us through skype on our computer and it has save us allot of money & headaches. We also use skype for our long distance calling. Time Warner for cable & internet, but we haven't had any problems with them yet. Check out SKYPE for more details: www.skype.com
