Does Target hire full time?

Hi I just applied for the Target in Lowell online. But sadly they gave me this email.?

• Thank you for taking the time to apply with us. We are unable to offer you a position at this time, but we do appreciate your interest in Target. Are they just saying this because the new store isn't built yet and they can't hire people right now since the store isn't actually up and running? But will they still keep me on file? I was so disappointed and so devastated getting this email! Please help me!

  They are confirming that they have received your application and for whatever reason, there are no jobs available. In most states, they do have to keep the applications on file for a period of time. Since the store is not built yet, as the store nears completion many times they will announce job openings or job fairs just before opening. I would watch for these and apply in person. Many times you are far quicker to land a job by going to a location in person and having face to face contact rather than submitting applications on line, unless they direct you to do otherwise.
