Where to get work permit?

Where can i get a High School work permit? (for illinois)?

  • i'm 15, and i realllly need a job to pay off some stuff to my parents. i wanna get a work permit, perferrably online. i live in illinois, so it would probably have to be specified on the permit. if you know a website that leads me somewhere where i can get one that would help sooo much (:

I'm not sure where you could get one online, but I'm pretty sure your guidance counselor at school can get one for you, or maybe they would know about getting one online.

I don't think you can get one due to child labor laws. Someone else might say differently.

Well i dont know if you know or not but a work permit isnt a job its something that says you can work. Most likeley you would be able to get one from and guidence counselor or fromt the main office those are where i get mine from. And as far as jobs for 15 year olds thats very hard to come by so dont get upset if u get an interview and dont get called back or no one has an job for you. You should see if any of the rec centers are hiring i work there and i get paid every two weeks and the good thing is im 14 gettin ready to be 15
