A good summer job for a 15-year-old?

How does a 14-year-old find a good paying summer job.?

  • How or where does a 14-year-old get a good paying summer job in Westchester that pays about $400 dollars by the end of the summer following the child labor laws. And is there an online game job where they send me a game and i write a report and send it to them for money which also comes to $400 dollars by the end of the summer.

    i don't know of any videogame jobs but if you aren't lazy or like to lose a little weight for summer while making money try mowing lawns around your neighborhood. my brother mows and he gets paid about $50 each lawn he does, and he does about 2 lawns a day but he doesn't do it on weekends. thats more than $400 a month. :)

I don't know what the weather is like, but assuming it doesn't rain too much in the summer you could detail cars. I set up my own business doing this in college. It is easy, but takes dedication and professionalism to get someone to trust you washing their car. Detailing is different then a car wash. Steps: 1) Wash the car with a sponge and a small amount of car washing liquid. 2) Dry car. 3) Use a Maguires or Mother type of polish. And apply like a car wax. (That will bring a shine to the paint) 4) Follow up with a car wax. 5) Get a dressing for the rubber moldings and tires. You will need: towels large sponge detailing circular pads car washing liquid (not dish soap!) car polish (mothers or maguires) car wax (same) dressing Probably will cost you $40-50 for start up. If you don't have it, try taking out a loan from a parent or relative in turn for a car wash (or detail if your feeling nice). You can charge a variety of prices. I started out charging $60 for a exterior detail (which is probably right given your age and experience). You can add an interior also but that takes different products. If you take this route you'll make way more then $400 depending on how much you want to work. Welcome to entrepreneurship! Good luck

That's like impossible. You would have to get a normal job and mow lawns and other miscellaneous things like it.

start mowing lawns. Ask around in the neighborhood. ask for $20 per job. which consists of mowing, and cleaning up. this should be for an average sized yard.

hahah...wishful thinking. You're probably going to have to work harder than that. Most people don't get paid for playing games. You'll probably have to work at the local pool or an amusement park for a while
