What's a job that pays over 30 an hour?

Whats a summer job that an 18 year old, now sophomore in college, can get that pays $15 an hour or more?

    Try lifeguarding at the local Y. My husband did that for 3 years while he was in school... started out at $18/hr and eventually made over $20. He did a lot of extra duty though (lifeguard personal parties, overtime, etc.) but he had good hours and the people worked with him on his schedule since he was in school. Check into it.

For $15.00 an hour you need to get an internship with a corporate 500 company. When I was a junior several years ago, I got a summer internship with General Electric Transportation in Erie Pennsylavania, they paid $15.00 an hour straight time and and about $22.50 an hour for overtime. There was even a few Holidays that I worked that I was paid my Holiday pay as well as 30.00 an hour for every hour worked. That was over a decade ago, who knows what they are paying now. I had to live in Erie that summer, meaning I had to get an apartment and all. Butthe cost of living in Erie is cheap.

There used to be a lot of work like that in construction and landscaping for college students on summer break. Now we call those jobs "Jobs Americans Won't Do" and hire illegal immigrants to do them for $6 to $8 an hour.
