Which Landscaping company is the best in the Philippines?

Most affective way to advertise a landscaping company in my local area?

  • I've started a landscaping company and was wondering what people are looking to when needing new services? I know where i look to (hint I'm here on the net asking this) I want to offer services like routine lawn care, new landscaping, reviving old landscaping, mulch and remulcing, proptery maintance and commercial center maintance. medical centers and resturants seem like the business I would like to attract, but i know they have other people take care of the services part (like proptery maintance companies). not sure how to get my foot in the door with those guys or how to find them. I live on the west coast of florida where it seems like everyone and their mother does this line of work. I need to figure out how to be one step ahead of all the others and how to attract customers in my area. The customers I have already came from either word of mouth or passing out flyers in shopping center parking lots. Just looking for more effective way but inexpensive aswell. any help will help.

  • Answer:

i think word of mouth is best. well for me anyway it is. try talking to some GC's. large const. mngmt. companies that oversee big projects are always looking for good contractors from all areas. as long as you are self insured. Good luck!!!

Don't advertise - Network. You also should contact hoas (home owner associations), hospitals, and businesses, as they ask for bids every year for a new contract, or when their current service messes up, etc. Call and find out/talk to the decision maker or leave a clear and positive message once every 3 months. Don't feel exasperated, just be positive and persist - keep it fresh. Contact other service company owners/managers and refer business to them and ask that they reciprocate. Check with local chamber of commerce or similar business groups, and see if they have any networking functions. Show up, present yourself professionally, make friends and tell them what you do and how you commit to quality, and how importantly you feel quality of service and business practice makes a difference with your client base... Offer facilities close to where you do business already a special rate for the first month with no contract to evaluate the quality of your work. They can easily see the consistency of your work if they need a reference. Offer a free week or some kind of discount to your current customers who refer anyone who decides to sign on with your service. These are the basic tools to build a business virally... Good luck!

believe me, word of mouth is the most effective. you will stand little chance of offering competitive prices for contract work at this stage, so dont try. be overly nice to local people. drive around local estates. if you notice a lot of work that needs doing in one area, pick on one house and offer services for free or as near as, use it as a showcase for your work, neighbours are sure to be interested. ensure that your personall apearance and professonalism is the best, no stubble or a builders bum, and you talk clearly with no waffle, always offer to remove shoes before entering a house. touches like this will, with abit of luck especially with the women, man they talk and gossip.phrases like 'he's a lovely boy' will get anoying but very usefull, practice a customer service voice and smile. this should win you over your competitors on a local scale at least. good luck. p.s if you are a woman you should already know this, if not now you do (no offence ment)
