Where can I find the cable vs phone company tv commercials?

Is there a website where I can view phone/Internet providers for my local area?

  • Basically, we have AT&T basic phone service and I have DSL on top of that. Soon, AT&T is switching to a new service (I forgot the name...it's one of those bundle deals where you have no choice but to get a 3-in1 cable, Internet and phone service whether you need it all or not). They come out to the house (as we saw the people across the street from us dealing with) and seem to want to spend hours over a period of 2 days installing hardware connected to the tv and computer. I don't want people in my house. In a month or two, they are going to change over and we will have no choice but to leave AT&T because we don't want all of that. We just need a basic home phone service that doesn't want the all-in-one stuff, and I need to be able to add DSL on top of that with the same company...without anyone having to come out and install hardware. AT&T shipped me the modem/software when I first signed up for DSL. But it seems they have a con game going now where you have no choice but for them to come out to the house. No doubt, they find some wiring that needs to be changed "in order to be compatible" with the new hardware, I'm sure. Any suggestions on websites to find my local phone and Internet providers? I live in Atlanta, Georgia. Thanks.
