Advice about opening a roller skating rink?

My town needs something for the kids to do other than get into trouble. I have had dreams of a youth center....but when I started playing roller derby my ideas evolved into opening a roller skating rink. I would love to add elements like a video game/pool/arcade game area, hip-hop night to encourage jam skating, my main concern is how to make it not "lame" for teenagers. I am 29 so what would be cool for me would not be cool for the 16-19 year olds. I am not looking to become rich, just provide a place for the local kids (including teens) to hang out, be safe, and have fun. Any tips/ideas???
