How do I upgrade from Internet Explorer 4.0?

What can I do about my yahoo mail upgrade when I only have internet explorer 6?

  • I've just received an email informing me of the new upgrade for yahoo mail. However, I only have internet explorer 6 and the minimum needed is internet explorer 7. Is there anything I can do without installing a new browser???

    I have IE8 with windows XP SP3 and the new yahoo works well with it. You need to download internet explorer 8 if you wish to keep internet explorer has your browser. Do not download explorer 9 that is for windows 7.Good luck

As everyone suggested you should upgrade to the new IE, but often users say they don't like newer versions of the mail and often revert back to the original. This is usually in a menu at the top of the Yahoo screen, but I wouldn't be sure whether you would possibly could choose this choice before the upgrade, otherwise I could only suggest reverting back on another computer with the latest browser.
