How do I change my yahoo time settings from PDT to EDT?

My email on Yahoo is showing Pacific time. I need EDT. How do I change that, anybody know? Thanks in advance!?

    Emails originating in the Yahoo system carry a time stamp according to the main servers on the west coast of N.America (time zone PDT or PST). This is a default time that CANNOT be changed by users.

In yahoo mail, go to OPTIONS then ACCOUNT INFORMATION. There's a place there to update you information - you'll see a "time zone" field that you'll need to fix.

I have wondered this myself so I would recommend contacting a Yahoo Mail customer service representative to see what they say about the fact that it's showing the time of the Yahoo server instead of the timezone for the region each person is in.
