Where do I find the "move file" button on the new e-mail page?

  • I cannot figure out how to move an e-mail into a personal file on the new Yahoo Mail. Where is the "move" button?

  • Answer:

    Slowly slide your cursor over the line of icons toward the top and it will show you what each thing is for. It's the icon that looks like a flower or gear just to the right of the written word "<Print>. When you get to the gear/wheel it will say, "More actions for selected emails". Click on that and look down the drop down list for what action you want. Isn't the "new and improved" Yahoo frustrating?

IMPORTANT:Remember to turn JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For FIREFOX: Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (PERMANENT) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. DO NOT click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option. IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back.
