MAC address in an email header to identify a specific phone?
-
I need to know how to find the MAC address in an email header. I understand every individual phone has a unique number to identify it. I am receiving harassing emails from an ex, but I believe the gf is actually typing them from her phone when they are not together. I need to be able to identify which phone it is from.

Answer:
It is my understanding that a MAC address goes no further than the ISP. It is what ties the IP to the actual device. Even if you had it there is no central registration of who owns a specific device with a specific MAC number. ʎəɿʞɹɐq ̊ ͜͡● ̊
