How do i set correct time. when sending email shows pacific time. i want eastern?

my profile shows eastern time but email shows pacific. again kindly how do i change.

most probably, yahoo is the same with at&t yahoo setting. their time is set to pacific. currently, it's not possible to change the time stamp on your outgoing AT&T Yahoo! Mail messages. The number with a "+" or "-" to the left of the time stamp shows how many hours ahead or behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), or World Time, the time stamp is. It is also not possible to change the time stamp of incoming messages.

Yahoo is based in western United States, therefore emails carry a PST timestamp. Currently there is no provision for changing the default time zone.
