Something wrong with my email?

Is there something seriously wrong with the new Yahoo email system?

  • As far as I can see, I am using IE8 or IE9 in an internet cafe. I have two Yahoo email addresses. I can operate one ok, but whenever I change to the other, the new email screen apears, then switches straight back to the first address, meaning that I can no longer send or receive emails from the second. A very similar thing happened when the new normal email was rolled out a few weeks (or was it months?) ago, but it was subsequently fixed. Why is no-one fixing this new buh\g?

    A few ideas to try... Have you logged completely out of the first account at a yahoo site? Try logging in and out, then clearing your browser's cookies. Then try the second account. Do you have multiple browsers on the same machine? If so, you might try opening each browser in turn, logging into and out of the old yahoo account, then clearing cache and cookies for that browser. If by any chance you are attempting to log on to different accounts with different browsers at the same time, that might cause a problem. I once had a similar (but not identical) issue with google accounts. Seemed to be a cookie problem. Good luck.
