How do I create a new Yahoo address name?

Problem creating a new yahoo email address?

• so im trying to create another yahoo id/ email address for business purposes. I filled in all the data on the page, my name, the user ID/email I wanted, the security question, and then when I got to the field to select the alternate Email address, i entered in one I use frequently for business purposes it is a yahoo email address, but once I fill in that and then accept their terms by checking that box and then click on Submit Application it says the alternate email address is invalid. I know it's not invalid, i was using it this morning to send email to customers. i entered the full email "[email protected]" it said it was invalid so i also just entered the ID "emailname" w/o the yahoo. i also tried using another yahoo email I use daily and it said it was also invalid. is this "alternate" email supposed to be in a non yahoo domain ? anyone else having problems with that ?

  You can't use another Yahoo Mail as your alternate email address. You must have POP mail. If not, create a gmail account, to either use for business or the alternate account. Personally, I wouldn't be real quick to do business with someone using Yahoo! Mail for their business. Even Gmail would be better. Get yourself a domain name and business account. It can be done VERY cheaply.
