What did happen to yahoo spell check?

Can you Please restore the Spell Check to the Classic Yahoo E--Mail?

  • I desperately need the Spell Check, for I am a Poor typist, Please, please restore the Spell Check. I f you will restore the Spell Check, I will stop "bugging" you about what I miss in my changed Classic E-Mail. [email protected] I am sad because I do miss my old Classic E-Mail. It was a dear ffriend.I am old and do not want to change,especially when it was working so well for me.

    IF you don't want to change----then DON'T. Classic Mail IS NOT being discontinued. The All New Mail--(which was the one between Classic and Beta)--is the one that was discontinued and replaced with Yahoo Mail (Beta version)---but Classic WILL remain an option to those who didn't upgrade to Beta. But once you DO upgrade to Beta----Yahoo doesn't want (allow) you to go back, and they removed the link that used to let you get Classic back. However---Here is a "workaround" to get you back to Classic. It's quick and easy. Just lower the page "resolution" to the point where it won't support the Beta version and you will be asked if you want to switch to Classic. (start>control panel>"appearances and themes">display>settings>>lower it and click OK). Then-----Once you've changed your mail page back to Classic----go back to the control panel and return the page resolution to normal, (so things will continue to work smoothly).

Sorry, you are asking in the wrong place. Go to yahoo mainpage and scroll to bottom, then click contact us. Mine works. I refuse to change to newer because of all the problems.

Dear Poor typist do your self a huge favor revert back to the classic see below read how I went back and this did work for me & many other users I don't see why it will not work for you good luck. There are large numbers of users on here with similar issues.Two ways to back to the other mail that I know of.The new beta mail they say it's 2X faster it's really 10X slower I had it I lost more than half my mail folders.I did a live chat session w/Yahoo told them if I can't go back I will leave yahoo they switched back.Two ways to switch back you can go & do a like chat session with a Yahoo customer service rep/agent like I did.To do this go here.Click on the link below to do your live chat. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl%E2%80%A6 Direct link to chat w/yahoo https://sales.liveperson.net/hc/63758332%E2%80%A6 And the other way is if you reduce your screen down just not sure how far down.But if you reduce it down far enough you will see an option to switch back.This will not switch you back to the all new mail it will switch you back to the Yahoo classic mail.Or you can just try emailing Yahoo with your issues that will take some time 3-4 days if your lucky.
