What is wrong with the Yahoo! email?

What wrong with Yahoo.com email TODAY, April 7, 2009?

  • I tried to log onto my Yahoo.com email account today at about 3:00pm EST today. When, I pushed the email button all I got was a BLANK WHITE SCREEN, I was using a public access computer terminal and I was told they updated the high speed connection there. I first assumed that problem was there. Someone else at that place got the same thing. I assume it was the place I was using the computer there. When I got home and used my home computer to access my Yahoo.com email there it uses another ISP than the public one I was using. This was at 5:00pm EST The same thing happened....When I log on and press the Email button all I get is a white screen......... ????????????? WHAT IN THE WORLD GOING ON HERE?? HOW COME I CAN'T ACCESS my Yahoo.com EMAIL ACCOUNT?? CAN ANYONE TELL ME??? - - - - - - - - - - What's going on here??

    Yahoo has been doing upgrading and maintenance work, this can cause things to act squirrelly. Many peolp are having problems. If something does not work properly, then try it again. If it still does not work, sign out of Yahoo. Then delete your temporary Internet files, history and cookies, some computers need to reboot. Once done, go back into Yahoo and see if that has helped. Same problem here with both firefox and internet explorer. Must be a yahoo problem.

I had the same problem. This site works as a temporary measure. It is a no-frills (and ad-free) yahoo site. At least you will be able to access your Inbox for anything urgent and when Yahoo finally fix whatever is causing the blank screen you can access the rest. http://us.m.yahoo.com/ I tried it this morning and got through to my mail (I’m on Mail Classic). I don't know but I'm having the same problem, so most likely, Yahoo is having some difficulties, or they are updating...or something. *****************edit I finally got to access my emails, so you better check yours now before the white screen problem happens again..

firefox has quite working for yahoo mail as well
