How do you add yahoo to the internet options email?

How do I add yahoo mail to the email programs list in internet options? Nothing I have tried so far has worked

    To make Yahoo! Mail the default email application for your computer, click Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs tab > under E-mail click the down arrow and select Yahoo! Mail > click Apply and OK. If Yahoo! Mail isn't listed as an option, follow the directions below. Using Internet Explorer just click "Continue" on the link below to download a small 60K file that will enable Yahoo! Mail to be the default email application for your computer. Whenever you click on an email address on any web page or in any computer program, Yahoo! Mail will open for you in a new window. If Internet Explorer displays a yellow security bar at the top, click on it and select Install ActiveX Control from the menu. If a security warning comes up with Yahoo! Inc. as the publisher, click Install. Now you can click on an email address anywhere and your computer will automatically open up Yahoo! Mail for you. You can even send documents directly from Word, Excel, or other Windows applications. Requirements: Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000 / XP / Vista Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher http://help.yahoo.com/help/uk/mail/ext/ext-11.html If Yahoo! Mail isn't listed as a default email option, adding one of Yahoo’s free downloads to your computer, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Music, or Yahoo! Toolbar will also add Yahoo! yahoo mail is not a program. notice that you get your yahoo mail in internet explorer or firefox.

http://toolbar.yahoo.com Download the tool bar for IE with/ .about 10 MB without Norton Antivirus ..9mb. You can click for Yahoo Mail etc easily. when you open IE. All default buttons will appear. I hope this helps. The Internet service which you use to dial up is where you go when logging on, from there you have to go to Yahoo. You can download Yahoo mail programs and have an icon on desktop for easy use. I just minimize the first and click on Yahoo mail. Good luck.
