How do i stop getting email notifications to my cell phone?

a while ago a friend of mine help me set up my yahoo account. she entered my cell phone email address and now when she sends stuff to my yahoo mail, i keep getting the notifications on my cell phone. that charges me everytime. how do i make it stop? i can't seem to find it anywhere on my acount. thanks in advance.

hi there, if you go to this site: http://mobile.yahoo.com you should be able to edit your settings if you are logged in. This Mobile page is also accessible from your main mail page, on the top right, there are a few links, one of them says "Mail for Mobile." log in there and edit your settings you should be able to remove all the alerts totally or just edit the ones you don't want to receive.

well what i did is I went to yahoo.com and send the support place a message and ask them how to turn off the notifications.
