How do you block someone from emailing you?

  • Its not like a company or someone that you can just unsescribe from emailing you. It was my friends email adress, then he made a new one and someone hacked his old one and started emailing me from it. PLEASE help. He emails me everyday its so ANNNOYYING. thank yoouu

    You can block the address it's coming from and Yahoo will delete any future emails arriving from that address immediately----and you'll never see any of them. That email will NOT be returned to the sender (Yahoo deletes it), and they aren't notified that they have been blocked (for security reasons). They will think you're still getting their emails. Mail page>>options>>mail options>>Spam (from the list on the left)>>block addresses. Enter that exact address in the space provided>>click "add block">>then click "save changes" at the top of the page.

On your mail screen over to the right, click Options, then click Mail or More options. On the list to the left, click Spam, either type or copy and paste the email address in the block, click Add block. Upper left click Save Changes. They will not get a notice of the block, it will not be returned to them, it will be deleted upon arrival at your account. They will just think you are ignoring them.
