How to make yahoo mail my default email in IE browser?

Make yahoo e-mail default IE 9?

• I have Windows Vista with IE 9. I am trying to make Yahoo as my default e-mail. Help tell me to to to the Control Panel, internet options, manage Add ON to add the Yahoo e-mail. I get the Manage add on under Protocols to show SingleInstance Class as disabled . But nothing happens when I click on enable. When I try to make the change under the Default change under the Control Panel, the choice I get when I click on "Change Programs" does not include the Yahoo choice. How do I enable it????

  You must understand that Yahoo is not an email program (examples: Windows Mail or Thunderbird). It is an email service. The default email is normally a program. The only way to alter it to be Yahoo is with some type of add on or you can use the latest Firefox. My recommendation is to just copy and paste the address. But if you insist then ... ₪ For Firefox 3 and above Go to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu. ₪ For Internet Explorer You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com and install it. During installation you will be asked if you want to make yahoo mail your default email. ₪ Other Option Here is a program called GmailDefaultMaker. Even though it is named Gmail it will work on Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail. I have not tried it.
