How to get my mail?

How can I get notified of new mail without going into check mail? I usually minimize the e-mail window.?

  • I work on my computer from home and get files through e-mail. I often stop my work and go to check mail. Is there any way that I can get notified when there is a new mail? Perhaps the minimized window could change colors. I can't find this function in my mail information.

If you have yahoo messenger, it makes a sound every time a new email arrives.

Yahoo widgets have an email checker that is quite handy! It sits on your desktop and checks for mail every 10 minutes. (or whenever you prefer)
