How do I get rid of targeted Contextual Ads?

How can I stop getting all How can I get rid of all these diabetes, - insulin ads, with my yahoo mail,?

• Each time i read my mail I get these ads over and over again, perhaps because i did a search one time about glucose levels. Does everyone get these countless insulin ads, or am I targeted because of the search I did. I'm so sick of it i want to change my e-mail address

  I turn on bulk mail filtering and don't get any spam like this. It depends how often you throw your email address. I use one address for signing up for things that might lead to spam and another for regular email with friends and family.
